Welcome! My name is Maximilian Muhn.

I earned my PhD in accounting from Humboldt University of Berlin and joined Chicago Booth as an assistant professor in July 2019. Check out my CV for more information.

I am broadly interested in empirical research. I am particularly interested in the determinants and consequences of firms’ financial transparency as well as the effects of financial market and transparency regulation. My research page provides a summary of some of my projects.
